On September 1st, 2006 we released WinFactor version 3.5! This upgrade is free for all 3.0 licensed users. The main difference in this version is that it has been recompiled in Access 2003.

No more enhancements will be made to version 3.0 We recommend upgrading at your earliest convenience. This version uses the same datafile and can be run in parallel with version 3.0 This means you can have both versions installed on your computer. Or, if you are in a multiuser environment, some users can run 3.0 while other run 3.5 This will allow for a smoother transition for those users that want to run in parallel. We do not recommend running the two app's in parallel for an extended version of time, though.

To upgrade to Version 3.5, download the demo by requesting a demo (click here) Follow the directions to install the software. Once WinFactor is installed, delete the demo data file (c:\program files\winfactor 3.5\wf30fdata.mdb) The next time you start WinFactor 3.5, it will prompt you for the location of your datafile (by default for a single user version, this is in
c:\program files\winfactor 3.0\

Be very careful in the step above to rename the datafile in the version 3.5 folder and not the 3.0 folder.

Also, if you are using the default user "user" there is now a password (which is also "user")
